Bringing seed cotton to the gin
Moisture and trash at intake decide more about the bale than the drive to the yard.

A gin can only protect the fibre it receives. Seed cotton that arrives wet, or mixed between fields, leaves the line as a weaker lot than the one that was picked.
Keep modules or heaps identifiable. Note the field, and do not mix a damp picking with a dry one to save a trip.
Intake checks, lot marks, and how lint is pressed are listed on the Samama product pages. Replace the sample figures with the gin's own practice.
More notes from the field, the gin, and the group.
